It is such a wonderful personal reward when, through the course of your work, you meet extraordinary people and have the privilege to assist them to achieve their creative goals. After losing her daughter to cancer and enduring a very difficult and traumatic time in her life, Caroline began to write poems that both remembered and honoured her daughter, Cath. As a mother mourning her very much-loved daughter, she documented all the stages of Cath’s life, personality and experiences, which are now immortalised in print.

Caroline was simply following her heart and her instincts, trying to somehow ease her pain of loss, but her creative work brought her amazing results. The therapeutic process of writing assisted Caroline through her grief, bringing her to a place of peace. Cath will, of course, always be missed, but her journey in life, her love and her energy have been captured, remembered and cherished.

I cannot express how truly spiritual our experience with Caroline has been. To create a beautiful book of poems complimented with amazing images as a testament to a loved one is beautiful. One of Caroline’s daughters, April, feels her Mum is extremely talented, and a very special soul. She has expressed that it is an honour to have Caroline as her Mum. At Unique Biographies, after going through this process with Caroline, we know that Cath would feel exactly the same. She would be overwhelmed that her family’s love for her created an exceptional memorial to her life.
