Testimonial:

When Kathy told me she was starting a new venture and asked me if we would like to have a record of Allan’s life I was a bit taken aback that she would think that our story would be interesting.

My immediate thought was that the story of our life would be very ordinary, but Kathy pointed out to me that everyones life is interesting to their own family, and it is a shame that families don’t have the opportunity to read about their ancestors and know what sort of life they experienced. Once we started to talk, we realised that my husband Allan’s life had been quite extraordinary, and indeed there was a good tale there, that not only his family, but many others, would appreciate.

Our family, friends and colleagues have enjoyed reading Allan’s story and it has provided a catalyst for many more questions and discussions. We realised that the man we knew was shaped by the positive manner in which he handled challenges.

Kathy’s conversational approach was unobtrusive and inviting and she inspired us to relate many things we hadn’t thought of for a long time. Allan and I found our time spent with Kathy very enjoyable and our family is very happy with the resulting biography.

Kathy is such a wonderful person with so many talents and so much wisdom. It is a pleasure to know her.

Love from Sylvia Batchelor.
