Testimonial

Allan Batchelor

This testimonial was written by Allan Batchelor. Unfortunately Allan became ill during the process of creating his biography and passed away a few months after its completion. He initially decided to have his biography written because he thought it was a wonderful idea to document his life story for his family and also for future generations. However when we are faced with a challenge that threatens our life it becomes of the upmost importance to leave behind that personal legacy.

Allan’s family were very grateful that Allan had the opportunity to take that journey back through his life and reflect on his experiences and achievements, and owning his biography was a blessing. It was a pleasure and a privilege and extremely rewarding to assist Allan to create his biography and we will treasure this experience always.

We can never predict our future and it is our experience that people often want to clear their schedule before undertaking the commitment to Unique Biographies for the creation of their very own life story. However, life hardly ever allows us this luxury and there are always circumstances which demand our time and attention; events we are invited to, projects around the house or garden to complete, holidays to plan, hobbies to finish or work and family commitments. There are also health issues and we strongly advise that you place the creation of your personal biography as a priority and enjoy the journey that Unique Biographies has to offer and not allow the pressures of our daily life to delay your decision.

Testimonial:

From the time I retired in 1999, I was pondering on the idea of writing the story of my life. Where to start? How much detail? Even putting it into sequence seemed too hard.

It was Kathy Stewart who made the suggestion that over a series of chats, she could take me through my journey from growing up in several small country towns such as Nabiac, and taking part in activities in Goulburn in Southern NSW to Lismore’s Far North Coast. I felt that this was an opportunity which was too good to miss.

I felt comfortable with Kathy’s calm conversational approach and felt that she enjoyed our discussions as much as I did.

My family is complimentary about the result, finding that there were many rewarding stories in my life, many of which they were unaware. We are all pleased that my life story has been recorded for the interests of future generations of the Batchelor family.

Thank you Kathy for helping me write my memoirs. It has been a very pleasant experience for me and an opportunity to give my children a chance to see how our forefather’s worked hard to survive.
